Cage Contender V is to feature 3 massive title bouts including what is probably going to be one of the biggest bantamweight bouts this year Paul McVeigh Vs Artimej Sitenkov.

The Irish promotion is set to hit Dublin on July 24th & Irish native Paul McVeigh will be squaring up to Lithuanian freak fighter Artimej Sitenkov. I have seen both fighters and I think it could go either way.

Artimej Sitenkov recently executed a flying armbar on James Doolan, a training partner of Paul McVeigh. Prior to that he had a victory over Steve McCombe, where he pretty much ate punches for two rounds continually smiling at his Irish opponent until the fight went to the floor allowing him to finish the fight via an Armbar. Paul McVeigh, also has a victory over McCombe & more recently a win over Swedish fighter Musse Hasselvall, but a loss to Chris David on Eurofight Xtreme. One thing I have noticed between that Artimej has never been out of the second round - so if this does go to the 3rd round, will he be able to keep up with Paul "Metabolic" McVeigh?

Cage Contender V is due to start at 6pm on July 24th & the bouts should begin at 7pm. The event is also to be filmed for Setanta - but I believe will only be available in Ireland, so if you're English - better book yourself a ticket to go over there!
